Project Overview
The existing ventilation equipment was in allowing water ingress into the ductwork and it was leaking into the kitchen area via the canopy.
Strip Out
- The equipment was isolated, the PIB (rubber) weather protection and insulation was removed and disposed of..
Ductwork
- New ductwork was manufactured and our engineers installed new replacement ductwork.
- All joints were resealed with new Butyl Gaskets to ensure the soundness of the ductwork.
- The ductwork was then thermally insulated with a 40mm Kingspan Thermaduct boards.
- The boards were taped, glued and sealed into position and finished with Gloss Black Pro clad 150TM to match materials already installed on the ductwork sited on the above roof.
