Safe work in occupied buildings, from schools and care homes to offices and homes, planned before we arrive and managed while we are there.
Much of our work happens in buildings that stay open: schools during term, care homes with residents in place, and offices and venues that are trading. Safe working there depends on planning access, isolations and timing around the people using the building.
Before work starts we agree access, permits, isolations and working hours with the client, and prepare the risk assessments and method statements the job requires. Schools, care environments and public-facing premises may also require induction, safeguarding or out-of-hours arrangements.
ComGas is CHAS accredited and holds Constructionline accreditation, giving clients independent assessment of our health and safety and company arrangements.
