Commercial boiler servicing and heating maintenance, planned around your operations.
Planned servicing and maintenance of commercial boilers, heating systems and plant for commercial and industrial properties — scoped around your equipment, scheduled around your operations and documented for your records. ComGas covers commercial heating and boiler maintenance across Surrey and surrounding counties from our Farnham base.
Commercial boilers and heating systems maintained before they become a problem.
An unplanned commercial boiler failure — at a school in January, a hotel mid-occupancy or a factory at operating temperature — is disruptive and avoidable. A structured servicing programme, built around the specific equipment in your building and your operating calendar, reduces that risk and creates a documented maintenance history that supports those responsible for the premises.
ComGas carries out planned commercial boiler servicing and heating system maintenance for a range of commercial and industrial customers. Servicing visits are documented; where additional maintenance or remedial work is identified, findings are explained clearly and any further work is separately scoped and quoted before anything is authorised.

From a single boiler service to a full programme covering heating distribution, plant rooms and hot water systems, ComGas can agree the right scope for your site and operational requirements.
Commercial Boiler Servicing
Planned servicing of commercial boilers to maintain efficiency, performance and an up-to-date service history.
Servicing visits scoped around the equipment and the building's calendar.
Commercial boilers vary in age, configuration and the demands placed on them. Before agreeing a servicing frequency, we consider the equipment, manufacturer guidance and how the building operates — so the programme is built around the actual asset rather than a standard interval.
Servicing visits are documented. Where additional maintenance or remedial work is identified, findings are explained, the priority is assessed and any further work is separately discussed and priced before it is authorised.
Boiler inspection and servicing visits
Safety device and controls checks
Performance observations and condition notes
Written service record on completion
Remedial work separately scoped and quoted
Co-ordination with wider heating and plant maintenance
Maintenance visits documented, records available to review.
A documented maintenance history supports compliance responsibilities, helps identify patterns of deterioration and provides a clear record for building managers, insurers and tenants. ComGas provides a service record relevant to the work undertaken after each planned visit. Where specific gas certification documentation is applicable to a job, this is confirmed and agreed before work begins rather than assumed as a standard inclusion.
Service record issued after each visit
Findings and condition observations documented
Remedial priorities clearly explained
Gas certification documentation confirmed in advance where applicable
Customer Portal access for relevant service information
Records available to support compliance and insurance requirements
Portal access is for existing ComGas customers. Gas certification documentation is issued where applicable to the specific work and equipment type; the requirement is confirmed before work begins. ComGas does not issue certification as a routine inclusion in every boiler servicing visit.

Incredible service — problems fixed perfectly once again.
Lee, Paul and the team at COMGAS are fantastic. They arrived on time and got straight to work, quickly identifying the root cause of the plumbing and heating issues I was experiencing.
The problems were diagnosed swiftly, I was kept fully informed throughout, and both issues were fixed with impressive speed and precision.
Having worked in the industry for nearly 20 years, I know how rare it is to find reliable, trustworthy, and genuinely skilled professionals — let alone a team this good.
I joked about it at the time, but it’s true: I had the best shower I’ve ever had in this house after they finished the job — and I’ve lived here for 10 years!
I honestly couldn’t ask for more and can’t recommend COMGAS highly enough.

I recently used Comgas for a gas and heating service, and I couldn't be more impressed! From start to finish, their team was professional, friendly, and highly knowledgeable. They quickly identified the issue with my heating system and explained everything in detail, offering both short- and long-term solutions.
The technician was punctual and took extra care to ensure everything was running smoothly. I really appreciated their attention to detail and how they made sure to clean up after the work was completed. My home is now warm and cozy, all thanks to their expert service. I highly recommend Comgas for anyone looking for reliable, efficient, and trustworthy gas and heating professionals!

Commercial heating FAQs
Questions about commercial boiler servicing and heating maintenance
Common questions about planned commercial heating maintenance programmes and what to expect.
The appropriate servicing frequency depends on the type and age of the boiler, its usage pattern and the manufacturer's guidance. ComGas can review the equipment and recommend a suitable interval as part of agreeing a maintenance programme.
What records do you provide after a commercial boiler service?
We provide a service record relevant to the work undertaken after each planned visit. Where gas certification documentation is applicable to a specific job — for example a commissioning or safety record — this is confirmed before work begins rather than assumed to be included as part of every service. Existing customers can access relevant service information through the Customer Portal.
Do you maintain heating systems as well as the boiler itself?
Yes. Commercial boiler servicing and heating system maintenance can be combined in a single programme. Distribution, pumps, valves, controls, programmers and hot water plant can all be included, subject to the agreed scope.
Can heating maintenance be co-ordinated with other building services?
Yes. Where a building requires maintenance across gas, heating, electrical and HVAC systems, ComGas can co-ordinate these within a broader planned preventative maintenance programme. See our Planned Preventative Maintenance page for details on multi-discipline programmes.
What happens if a fault or additional work is identified during a service visit?
Findings are documented and explained after each visit. Where additional work is required, it is discussed and separately quoted before anything is authorised — work outside the agreed servicing scope is not carried out without prior agreement.
Let's plan the right commercial heating maintenance programme for your site.
Tell us about your boilers, heating plant, number of sites and any access or operational constraints. The team can discuss the right scope and visit frequency before any commitment is made.
